The Ballarat & District Trotting Club will play host to the biggest event in harness racing history on December 4, the 2018 TAB Inter Dominion. Returning to Victoria after a 10-year hiatus, the night will also feature free children’s activities and games plus internationally-recognised Ballarat illustrator Travis Price who will paint a huge 21-metre mural under the club's grandstand.

From Boxing Day until New Year's Eve, Ballarat will be filled with the sweet sounds of jazz when more than 1000 musicians and delegates attend the 73rd annual Australian Jazz Convention.
