FOLLOWING the success of Ballarat's winter program, the Jazz Series returns as part of the spring season of events!

Taking place right through to November, the Jazz Series of events will bring Ballarat's historic and contemporary locales to life with a diversity of jazz genres.

Jazz Series event manager Gerard Ballinger said the spring series featured a stellar line-up of jazz musicians, including "great women of the Australian jazz scene, young developing talent, and musicians who have been wowing the audience for years".

"The Jazz series showcases unique live performances by Australian Jazz artists of all genres, ages and backgrounds," he said.

"The programs include performances by established and emerging artists, designed to encourage you to experience the different sounds and styles of a wide variety of jazz genres."
